Same day alcohol delivery age verification options extended

The NSW Government has extended the ability for businesses to use two alternative age verification options for same-day alcohol delivery until 31 May 2024. Same-day delivery businesses have been required to verify a customer’s age online using an accredited digital identity service provider since 1 June 2022. Due to some businesses experiencing technical issues complying with these requirements, the Government has extended temporary measures to allow three options for providers to verify a customer’s age.
